Debtor and Creditor
Extensive experience with the prosecution and defense of collections. We have defended and resolved many credit card claims for individuals and small businesses. Extensive experience representing consumers, collection agencies and debt collection law firms in actions involving claims of unlawful collection practices and violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and the Pennsylvania Unfair Trade Practice and Consumer Protection Law (UTPCPL). We have assisted with the prosecution and defense of individual actions and class actions involving unfair debt collection practices, the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and other consumer statutes. We have been involved in many cases filed under the United States Bankruptcy Code.
